Midnight Cowboy

One more thing New York gets right...

We went trick-or-treating around the brownstones in Chelsea and it was quite the party.
The streets were packed with kids and parents, all in costume.
The homes were decorated with cobwebs, pumpkins, lights and fog.
The spectacle was all a little too much for my little cowboy from Texas, who had to be coaxed and prodded into candy collection.
But what kid can resist free candy for long? Or compliments on his awesome grandma-made costume?
It was late when we got home, and B was exhausted, but we stayed up with our friend Candace to watch scary movies and eat pizza... and maybe we ate Milk Duds and Sweet Tarts for breakfast...
What else is Halloween for?

  1. Laura Masterson and me are sitting her obsessing over A) how your hair is prefect and B) how your son is freaking huge and freaking gorgeous. Girl, you got some good genes.
